Students perspectives on harmony

Today, we embraced the importance of Harmony Week through the interactive activity of writing positive affirmations, and through telling of our multicultural diversity in our classrooms.

Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background.

We would like to acknowledge the Bidjigal people, who are the Traditional Owners of the land on which our beautiful campus stands. We wish to pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging as ongoing custodians of the land and the keepers of knowledge, memories, songlines and stories. We also pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the land’s first storytellers, scientists, artists and artisans, and pay tribute to their enduring connection to land, water and Country.
