Dear Parents & Caregivers
As you may have heard in the media, the current lockdown for Greater Sydney will continue until Friday 16th July. Students from Schools in Greater Sydney will begin Term 3 using the Learning from Home Model. Although schools will remain open for students and families who need it, parents are encouraged to keep their children at home.
The following arrangements will be in place at GRC Peakhurst Campus to enable students to learn from home from Tuesday 13th July:
- Regular timetabled lessons will proceed online via Google Classroom and this will be the only mode of lesson delivery for all students whether working from home or at school. All students, except for those who are unwell, are expected to work online, following the normal school timetable for their subjects/courses.
- Codes to access each of the Google Classrooms have been provided to students and many classes have been accessing these throughout the year. An updated list of these codes will be emailed to parents and students on Monday 12th July.
Further information about the Learning from Home Model will be provided to parents on Monday 12th July via email.
Parent Teacher Interviews for students in Years 8 & 9 will proceed on Wednesday 14th July, however, due to the current COVID restrictions, they will need to be conducted via phone. Teachers will contact parents who made appointments at their allocated time.
