Welcome!
Georges River College Peakhurst Campus is a junior high school (Years 7 to 10) providing a wide range of education and enrichment programs, and opportunities for students with a diverse range of learning needs and interests.
We offer High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) programs to extend and challenge our students. In Years 7 and 8 we have a streamed HPGE class, and in Years 9 and 10 there are several HPGE classes across the curriculum.
Our Special Education Unit provides education and support to students with IO/Autism and moderate intellectual and physical disabilities, and our Learning Enhancement Team caters for mainstream students who experience hearing and vision impairments and other health and learning challenges.
We offer many extra-curricular programs, including debating, sporting, and creative arts, and our Student Representative Council provides many opportunities for personal growth for students.
Open Night
Our annual Open Night is held in February, providing us with the opportunity to showcase our school to the community. We welcome prospective students, their families and interested members of the community to attend.

We would like to acknowledge the Bidjigal people, who are the Traditional Owners of the land on which our beautiful campus stands. We wish to pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging as ongoing custodians of the land and the keepers of knowledge, memories, songlines and stories.
We also pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the land’s first storytellers, scientists, artists and artisans, and pay tribute to their enduring connection to land, water and Country.
