National Pi Day (March 14 = 3.14) is fast approaching!
To celebrate the irrational constant Pi this year, GRC Peakhurst will be running competitions during recess and lunch on Monday, 14th March, 2016.
Activities include:
- Pi Hunt
Find the specially marked fraction of a chocolate coin to win a prize.
- Pi Lolly Guessing Competition
Guess how many circular, cylindrical and spherical lollies are in the jar.
- Pi Recital at recess in A9
Registration at the Maths Staff Room required.
- Pi Prize Wheel Challenge at lunch in the Quad
Find a gold token and bring it to the Maths Staff Room to register your name.
There are LOTS OF PRIZES to be won!
