Guided by the Department of Education’s High Potential and Gifted Education Policy, the Year 7 Extension Class program recognises and nurtures students’ intellectual and social-emotional capabilities through a broad range of differentiated and enriched learning experiences.
We are dedicated to cultivating critical and creative thinking, collaboration, and resilience, empowering students to pursue personal excellence and contribute positively to their learning community. By valuing diversity, wellbeing, and high expectations, the Year 7 Extension Class ensures that students are both supported and extended, enabling them to realise their potential as confident, engaged, and socially responsible learners.
