Languages

The Languages faculty is dedicated to inspiring a love of language and culture through engaging and authentic learning experiences.

Japanese is a mandatory subject in Year 8, where students are introduced to the fundamentals of the language and explore aspects of contemporary Japanese life.

In Years 9 and 10, students can continue their studies as an elective, deepening their communication skills and cultural understanding. Following the NSW Modern Languages Syllabus, the program emphasises cultural immersion, creativity, and real-world application.
